Delicate as a painted miniature, this antique sterling silver bar brooch captures the romantic refinement of the Edwardian era. Its long, slender form is decorated with luminous pale guilloché enamel scattered with tiny pink roses and fresh green foliage—a beautifully feminine jewel with the quiet elegance of the early 1900s.
Beneath the floral decoration, the enamel reveals a finely engraved geometric ground that catches the light and gives the surface its characteristic shimmering depth. A darkened sterling silver framework outlines the elongated navette form, with the original patina left intact to preserve its wonderfully aged character.

The restrained proportions make this a particularly wearable antique jewel. Rather than the bold scale of later costume brooches, it has the delicate linear elegance associated with turn-of-the-century jewelry, while the miniature rose decoration gives it an unmistakably romantic character.
Wear it horizontally on a jacket lapel, blouse or dress, or use it to fasten a scarf at the neckline. It would also be lovely incorporated into an antique-inspired bridal look—an understated "something old" with more than a century of character.
The untouched patina is part of its appeal, giving the sterling framework a softly aged contrast against the luminous enamel. Collectors who prefer polished silver could choose to clean it, but its current surface beautifully communicates its age and history.
